Carly Regnier, Tara Mouney, Meredith Ostrander, Kathleen Kauth, Julie Iler and Jill Graat each scored a goal for the winners. Ali Brewer turned away all 20 shots she faced.

Maine’s Amanda Cronin made 44 saves on 54 shots.

At Burlington, Vt., Boosted by a strong second half, Boston University defeated the University of Vermont 68-54 Friday night.

Led by Mike Costello, the Terriers outscored Vermont 15-4 over a four-minute stretch late in the second half.

Costello, LaVar Folk (eight assists) and Ignatio Rodriquez each scored 12 for the Terriers (9-16, 5-12 America East) who with the win is locked into the eighth seed in next week’s America East Championships.
