GUILFORD – Chris Carr went 4-for-4 to lead the Lee Academy Pandas to a 19-11 schoolboy baseball victory over the Piscataquis Community Pirates Thursday.
Carr notched three singles, a double and two RBIs to lead Lee.
Matt Corbin and Erik Worster had two singles and a double each for the Pandas. Derek Dicker and Travis Jacobs had a single and double apiece. Alex Nicholas added two singles and two RBIs.
Tim Shea blasted three home runs and added a single, driving in seven runs for the Pirates. Derrek Smith added a single, double and solo home run.

At Greenville, Rangeley scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning to seal a win.
Matt Johns doubled and singled twice to drive in three runs for the Lakers of Rangeley. Kyle Hutchinson and Matt Gardner added two singles apiece.
Casey Niles slammed a solo homer, double and two singles for Greenville, driving in three runs. Tom Mason and Tom Deming contributed two singles each.

At Newport, Barrett Dionne pitched six innings of four-hit ball, striking out eight as Bangor edged Nokomis.
Shawn Bouchard singled in the winning run in the third inning and had an RBI triple in the first for the Rams.
Greg Morse rapped an RBI triple in the sixth inning and Richie Otis lined a two-run single for the Warriors.

At Newport, Jenny Jimmo spun a complete game and struck out 11 as Bangor rolled to its 10th win.
Rachel Kelly went 3-for-4 with three singles for the Rams. Kerri Tuck singled and tripled while Kori Dionne added a double and single.
Adrieanne Nickerson belted a single and triple to drive in two runs for the Warriors. Jess Randlett contributed a triple and double and Liz Mendell notched a double and single.
