GUILFORD – Kyle Pulkkinen nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer Monday night to lift Piscataquis Community High a 55-52 schoolboy basketball victory over Foxcroft Academy.
Matt Carey’s two free throws with eight seconds left had tied it for FA before Pulkkinen won it.
Dustin Carson scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the winners. Pulkkinen added 14 points and Keith Dawson contributed 13.
Josh Withee scored 17 points for Foxcroft Academy, Carey finished with 14 and Dan White had nine.
