MILLINOCKET — Millinocket Memorial Library is offering a summer reading program that will highlight Maine authors and illus- trators as well as some of the his- tory of the state.

The noncompetitive eight-week program begins on Monday, June 21, and ends Aug. 14. Reading charts will allow children to track time or pages read each week. Registration forms are available at the library. For more informa- tion, call Marietta Cole, the chil- dren’s librarian, at 723-7020.
