BREWER – Dan Allen rolled up six hits in two games as Sanford swept a doubleheader from Worcester Peat on Saturday at Heddericg Field in Twilight League baseball action.
Bonanza won the first game 11-5 and took a 9-7 victory in game two.
In the first game, Allen singled twice, doubled and knocked in three runs to lift Sanford.
Wylie Herzberg tossed a complete game and ripped two singles for Bonanza.
Seth Cole lined a pair of singles for Worcester Peat. Steve Osborne contributed a two-run double.
In game two, Allen smacked a solo home run and two singles, leading Sanford.
Shawn McKenna and Nate Mann had three singles each for Bonanza.
Robey Rhodes plated two runs with a double and two singles for Worcester Peat. Jason Dority doubled and singled while Seth Cole, Aaron Largay and Osborne added two singles each.
