ROCKLAND — The Knox County grand jury handed up 55 indictments involving 54 people Thursday after four days of deliberations. There was one secret indictment and one no-bill, which means one case brought before the grand jury did not result in an indictment. Indicted were:

Richard R. Mazzone, 50, Honolulu, 10 counts of gross sexual assault; 10 counts of unlawful sexual contact involving the same female victim under the age of 14 between October 1994 and February 1997.

Richard L. Ward, 22, Warren, two counts of gross sexual assault against a female victim under the age of 14.

David Boutin, 41, Thomaston, attempted gross sexual assault; unlawful sexual contact; gross sexual assault; victim was a girl under 14.

Ut Van Tran, 26, Rockland, two counts of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon; terrorizing with a dangerous weapon; assault; involving a knife and two victims, Renee Secotte and Boun Kiam, Sept. 11, in Rockland.

Ernest Gregg, 43, Rockland, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon; terrorizing with a dangerous weapon; assault.
