The Weekly Question

What do you think of the music planned for the National Folk Festival in Bangor during August, including blues, Cajun, zydeco and Quebecois?

I like blues in general. No preference for the rest of it.

D. Church, Holden

I can’t wait. Especially for the zydeco. I’m very excited about the music coming.

Carla Snowman, Hampden

I’ve only seen a few of the things, but it sounds interesting so far.

Greg Westrich, Bradford

I’m very excited for the festival. I really like folk music and I like to watch live music.

Tara McKernan, Bar Harbor

I think it’s great. Hopefully I’ll learn something – I’m looking forward to it.

Dana Geel, Franklin

I like a lot of variety, but I don’t listen to that type of music. Maybe other people will like it, but I’d rather go to a rock concert.

Lacy Bennett, Orono

Frankly, I can’t answer, because I don’t know a thing about it. I’ll probably attend the festivities, but I don’t know about any of it.

Wiley Ramisch, Hermon

I think it’s good as long as there’s a little bluegrass, folk music and down-home country music.

Carole Sprague, Machias

Not bad, but it would be nice to get some more unknowns some exposure.

Tyler Brown, Orono

It’s a good lineup. We like Cajun and the zydeco music.

Pat Thompson, Orono
