Zinck leads King’s to victory over UMPI

TRURO, Nova Scotia – Julie Zinck led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points as King’s College defeated the University of Maine-Presque Isle 53-51 in a women’s basketball game Friday night.

Three other players added eight points apiece for King’s College.

Lori Morrow led the Owls with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

At Halifax, Nova Scotia, Drazen Jozic netted 18 points along with eight assists, while Denis Traup pulled down 10 rebounds in the Bengals’ win in the Atlantic Coast Classic tournament.

Stafford Bent added 14 points for UM-Fort Kent, while Shaun Tomblin, Jayson Bray, and Robert Miller tallied 10 apiece.

Seth Kingsbury tossed in 26 points for Nova Scotia, while Josh Kingsbury and Rob MacGregor added 10 each.
