PORTLAND – The Portland Pirates Wives’ Club has raised more than $29,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Maine at Sunday’s “Evening with the Pirates”.

The event was highlighted with a live auction where a Wayne Gretzky autographed New York Rangers jersey sold for $2,500. The total amount raised was the largest single-event total in it’s history.
