FARMINGTON – Mike Wilcox scored 19 points and Jared Rivers tossed in 18 as the University of Maine at Farmington posted a 96-62 men’s basketball win over Maine Maritime Academy Thursday night.
Daren Meader netted 17 and A.J. Dufort notched 12 for UM-Farmington, which improved to 17-4.
Jed Johnson connected for 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Corey Streams had 12 points for 12-5 Maine Maritime Academy of Castine. Matt Ketchen and Peter Pitula scored 11 each for the Mariners.
St. Joseph’s 94, Thomas 82
At Standish Wednesday night, senior guard Ryan Martin of Fort Kent poured in 26 points and became the 26th player to reach 1,000 career points for St. Joseph’s.
Travis Seaver and Alex Moorhead each added 16 points to the balanced attack for St. Joe’s and C.J. Vose netted 13.
Scott Raymond poured in 30 points for Thomas of Waterville.
