BANGOR – It’s called “Look Good – Feel Better,” and it’s intended to accomplish just that for women who believe that chemotherapy and radiation treatments for any kind of cancer has affected their appearance.
The program provides information and hands-on instruction in makeup and skin care, and also offers suggestions for using wigs, turbans and scarves.
Sponsors include the American Cancer Society, the National Cosmetology Association, and the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation.
