The Maine Sports Complex, a domed facility in Hampden with artificial Sprinturf, will officially open for business at 9 a.m. today. Several time slots have already been booked, but soccer and field hockey league registrations continue. League play will begin in a week. Those teams or individuals interested in participating may call facility manager Gary Walker at 862-5050. The facility’s normal hours will be 7 a.m.-10 p.m. There is a golf driving range in addition to fields for walking, fitness circuits, and other sports. An individual can use a facility for a nominal fee.
