Guest columnist Werner Fornos (BDN, April 27) states that family planning is all about prevention. His bloated statistics need to be researched by members of the U.S. House of Representatives and its appropriations committee. As Americans we have been fooled for too many years when it comes to the agenda of the Planned Parenthood Association and its family planning clinics across the country.

It is imperative that people who believe life exists from the moment of conception continue the fight for the lives of unborn children who are unable to speak for themselves. It is a deteriorating society that foolishly follows the leading of so-called intellectuals who have set themselves up as judge, jury, and executioner of innocent unborn babies.

True intellectuals have the wisdom of Solomon and the compassion of Christ as well as the intestinal fortitude to stand up for the right to life of all unborn children(and now the partially born), thus refuting the many statements that a so-called intellectual such as Fornos will have us believe.

Do not be deceived — family planning is about more than prevention. It is all about a very well-planned agenda fostered by the liberals in our land. Sharon I. Rideout Bangor
