George Danby’s editorial cartoon of “the confessional booth” (BDN, March 9-10) was callous, in very poor taste and a mockery in light of the recent events that have rocked not only the Catholic churches in the Diocese of Portland, but throughout New England and the United States. Would Danby do a similar cartoon if a similar event were to happen in other denominations? Probably not.
