A burglary was reported at the Minute Car Wash in Bangor. The burglary reportedly occurred Tuesday night. Police reported that someone kicked in a rear window and stole $300 from a back room. The building received $7 damage as a result of the burglary, police said.

The owner of an apartment house on Fountain Street in Bangor reported that a microwave oven was stolen from the kitchen. The kitchen is an open area used by the tenants. The oven was valued at $206.

James Higgins, 27, Riverside Trailer Park, Old Town, was arrested in Bangor on Wednesday morning and charged with operating after suspension and on a warrant charging failure to appear in District Court. Higgins was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on April 27.

John Macken, 31, Boston, Mass., was arrested in Bangor on Wednesday and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, operating a motor vehicle while his license was under suspension and driving more than 30 miles an hour over the posted speed limit. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on April 30.
