BANGOR – The Student Life Committee of the Bangor Theological Seminary will hold a fund-raiser for the benefit of Spruce Run during the Advent season. Students are being asked to donate any change from lunch purchases or purchases in the seminary bookstore to “Changing Lives with Change” from Wednesday, Nov. 29, to Friday, Dec. 15.

The offerings from the chapel services on Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 will be donated to the campaign. The public is invited to attend these services at 11 a.m. each Wednesday in the Beach Chapel on the seminary campus.

During each Advent season, the Student Life Committee works to help an agency that serves people in need. Those students who are serving local churches are asking their congregations to participate and local communities of faith are urged to make donations. Donations can be made to the BTS Student Life Committee, 300 Union St., Bangor 04401.
