ORONO – The Orono Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for its annual Tea with Santa, to take place 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13.

The program is open to all children ages 2-5, who will have punch and desserts with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Children also will have an individual visit with Santa, and will receive a gift from Mrs. Claus. Space is limited.

A gingerbread-making class will take place 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, for pupils in grades two-five. The fee is $5 for Orono residents and $8 for nonresidents. Space is limited.

A Creative Memories/photos-for-me scrapbook class is a family workshop to show how to place special photos and scrapbook items in a Creative Memories album. The classes run on Jan. 16, 23 and 30, and fees depend on the size of the album chosen. The first five families to register and pay will receive a one-use camera with case.
