Outlook: Maine has a four-game unbeaten streak (2-0-2) while Brown has lost its last four. However, Brown’s win came 5-1 over a Providence College team that beat Maine 5-3 the previous night. And Brown is coming off a 2-0 loss at Cornell (with an empty-net goal) on Saturday while Maine tied the Big Red 1-1 Tuesday night. Maine will be aided by the return of RW Niko Dimitrakos and defenseman Cliff Loya. Dimitrakos received a fighting major, game disqualification, and mandatory one-game suspension in the 2-0 win over UMass-Lowell last Friday, while Loya served a two-game suspension after being picked up for OUI. The Bears are averaging only 2.8 goals per game, but have surrendered only 1.9, including four in their last four games. Maine will be without defenseman Peter Metcalf (knee) and RW Brendan Donovan (kidney). Brown is coached by former Maine defenseman Roger Grillo.
