When my sons had a disagreement as youngsters I reminded them that the one who yelled the loudest wasn’t the one in the right, just the one with the loudest voice and best set of lungs. How can we tell our children to respect one another when they have a disagreement at school if we are standing on street corners with disrespectful signs yelling because we belong to one political party or another?
There is a legal process in place which will be heard in the U.S. Supreme Court, initiated by Gov. Bush, to decide the voter issues in Florida. Let’s let the process play out. And let’s remember our children are watching and imitating us while we wait. Judy Williams Bangor
