BRUNSWICK – Bill Busch, Mike O’Leary, and Albert Mayer each had a goal and an assist to lead the Bowdoin College Polar Bears past Colby 5-2 Tuesday night in men’s hockey action.
The win in the 173rd meeting of the two teams boosts Bowdoin’s record to 4-2-1. Andy McNerney and Mike O’Neill scored the other two goals. Goalie Colin Robinson stopped 18 as the Polar Bears outshot Colby 33 to 20. Defenseman Brian Shuman was given the Peter Schuh Trophy as the game MVP.
For the 4-2-1 Mules, James LaLiberty and Mike Dalton each scored a goal. J.D. Hadiaris made 28 saves. Assists came from Fred Perowne, Mark McEwen and Nick Meintel.

At Bangor, Raquel Ross led four double-figure scorers with 17 points as the Unity College Rams knocked off Eastern Maine Technical College.
Perry Weiss had 15 points, Shelly Sponswick 14, and Courtney Lowell 12 for the Rams.
Jennifer Harriman led the Golden Eagles with 15 points while Teresa Esposito added 10.

At Unity, Aaron Liberty scored 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help lead the Unity Rams past Kennebec Valley Technical College Tuesday night.
For the Rams, Aubrey Belanger had 14 points, eight boards, eight assists, and six steals. Jeremy Drake had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Hank McDaniel scored a game-high 29 points for Kennebec Valley.
