BLUE HILL – St. Francis By The Sea Episcopal Church will be host of a traditional procession with carols to celebrate the Advent season. The event will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at the congregation’s temporary home at the First Congregational Church.

Music director Gerald Wheeler will conduct an expanded choir.

The service will begin outside the sanctuary with the ancient matin responsory set to music by Palestrina.
