The average statewide price for No. 2 oil dropped three cents per gallon this week, according to the State Planning Office. The average now stands at $1.49, 45 cents higher than at the same time last year.
Prices around the state ranged from a high of $1.55 to a low of $1.35.
Oil prices have dropped 7 cents in two weeks. Kerosene prices were also down, but propane – which is made from natural gas – was higher.
