Panthers hold off Warriors for 54-52 win

DYER BROOK – Dan Codrey scored five of his seven points in the fourth quarter, including a free throw in the closing seconds, to lift the Central Aroostook boys basketball over Southern Aroostook 54-52 Wednesday in high school action.

Craig Durost paced the Panthers of Mars Hill with 16 points, Craig Allen scored 14 and Lance Bradstreet added 12.

Jordan Shields tossed in a game-high 23 points for the Warriors. Corey Shields provided 12 points and 12 rebounds.
