Garland, Shaw propel Hermon past Ellsworth

HERMON – Ryan Garland led four Hawks in double figures with 15 points as Hermon posted a 65-60 schoolboy basketball win over Ellsworth on Friday.

Wayne Shaw added 12 points while Joey Schacht notched 11 and Ron Lane had 10 for the Hawks.

Derek Awalt scored 22 and Steve DeWitt scored 10 for Ellsworth.
