The special education children from Fruit Street and Mary Snow schools, with their bus driver, Robert Jordan, and rider Pat Parks, Bus 185P, had a minute of silent prayer for the servicemen and servicewomen who are in Saudi Arabia.
Pat was surprised to know how much and how many understood what silent prayers mean to our world in trouble. It made her feel good to see these heads down in prayer and some had tears on their cheeks.
Scott McKenzie and a few more were happy to have us in silent prayer because they knew t we were praying for their brother and loved ones and it made them feel at ease knowing we cared. These children have feelings and very big hearts. Pat also has her bus and apartment decorated with flags, yellow and white ribbons and a lighted heart that will stay lighted until the men and women arrive home safe and the war is over. Patricia J.
