WATERVILLE – Michael Pandy scored 2 goals as the Bowdoin College men’s hockey team defeated Colby College 3-1 Wednesday at Alfond Arena.

Jeff Wood scored the third goal Chris Couter made 2 assists for the 11-10-2 Polar Bears.

For Colby, now 9-9-4, Mike Flynn scored from Charles Riopez and Derek Bettencourt in the third period.

Bowdoin goalie Darren Hersh saved 22 of 23 shots and Colby’s Eric Turner stopped 30 of 33.
