Jesse LaCasse

Jesse LaCasse, a senior first baseman on the St. Joseph’s College baseball team has been named the Webber Energy player of the week. LaCasse had 11 hits, 13 RBIs and scored eight runs during the week.

Dave Dostie

Dave Dostie of Husson College has been selected as the Webber Energy pitcher of the week. Dostie, a senior, pitched two complete-game shutouts, allowing only four hits and striking out 26 in 14 innings of work.

Courtney Sirois

Courtney Sirois, a junior shortstop for the St. Joseph’s softball team, has been chosen as the Maine Athletic Conference player of the week. Sirois had 12 hits, scored seven runs and stole six bases during the week.

Devon Burnell

Devon Burnell of the Thomas College softball team has been named the Maine Athletic Conference pitcher of the week. Burnell, a senior, was 4-0 for the week, striking out 20 and walking only one while setting a new school record of 12 wins in a season.

Kristen Tong

Kristen Tong of the University of Southern Maine has been selected as the Little East Conference rookie of the week. Tong, a catcher, batted .529 for the week including four RBIs and six runs scored.
