DOVER-FOXCROFT – Seth Mayo scored from third on a comebacker to the mound in the top of the seventh inning Monday, lifting Ellsworth to a 5-4 high school baseball victory over Foxcroft Academy.
Mayo singled and went to third on Chad Smith’s double to set up the game-winner. He finished with four singles and three runs scored.
Smith rapped two doubles and a single and had one RBI. Aaron Kelley earned the win.
Danny White led the Ponies with four singles, Chris Chambers added two singles and an RBI, and Brandon Croan had an RBI double.

At Old Town, the Indians piled up 18 hits while beating the Broncos.
Joe Guerrette singled three times to lead Old Town, and Kevin Emerson (three RBIs), Shaun Tidwell (two RBIs), and Brady Goody each rapped a double and a single. Winner Ryan Brown and three others combined on a three-hitter.
Evan Thomas hit a two-run double for Hampden Academy.

Dan Frost rapped a two-run single to spark a four-run third inning that put Stearns up by seven. Forst had another single in the game.
Cody Thompson’s RBI single in the sixth inning was the Howlers’ only hit off Qualey.

Jason Clukey hit a solo home run and a two-run single for Dexter. Ross Morrison and Eric Day each had two singles and one RBI.

DeSantis had a double to go with his single; Jamo had two singles and two RBIs; Mike Albert singled twice and Chad McLaughlin had a two-run double for Schenck of East Millinocket.
Travis Robinson tripled and singled with one RBI for Katahdin of Sherman Station. Chris McNally (1 RBI) doubled and singled and Lance Cunningham tripled.
