Almost one quarter of a million dollars will be up for grabs on Sunday at New Hampshire International Speedway at Loudon for NASCAR Grand National North and Modified tour drivers.
The NASCAR Twin 125s kick off Saturday at noon with time trials for both divisions. On Sunday at 11:45 p.m., the feature Twin 125s start.
A total of $220,000 in purse money is slated to be given away. The purse is believed to be the third-richest race in New England stock car history.
Drivers entered in the GNN portion of the race include two-time defending tour champion Jamie Aube of North Ferrisburg, Vt., Rick Craven of Pembroke, N.H., Mike Rowe of Turner, Joe Bessey of Scarborough, Billy Clark of Farmington, Dick McCabe of Kennebunkport, and Kelly Moore of Scarborough.
Modified drivers include Jamie Tomaino of Howell, N.J., Mike Stefanik of West Greenwich, R.I., Rick Fuller of Auburn, Mass., and Mike McLaughlin of Waterloo, N.Y.
McLaughlin won both ends of a Twins race last season.
