CALAIS – Jim Beers singled twice and doubled to lead the Trenton-Ellsworth Acadians to an 8-6 American Legion baseball win over Calais here Friday evening.

For the 4-5 Acadians, Mark Leighton doubled and hit a solo home run. Brian Willey hit a single and a 2-run homer. Kevin Gilley notched the win.

Travis Oakes hit a 2-run home run and doubled for 1-9 Calais. Chris Sherrard hit a 2-run shot.
