SKOWHEGAN – Redington-Fairview General Hospital’s next session of childbirth education classes will be offered from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting Thursday, May 23, in Conference Room 1 at the hospital, located at 46 Fairview Ave. in Skowhegan.

Classes revolve around the 28th to 32nd weeks of pregnancy. Topics covered in the class include stages of labor, breathing techniques, relaxation methods, comfort measures, the role of the coach, postpartum care and newborn care.
