CALAIS — Calais Police Chief J.D. Johnson reported the following police activity for the week ending April 23:
Leslie Jellison, 34, Calais, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 23, on a March 19 warrant issued by the Brewer Police department, for failure to appear on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. Johnson said that Jellison was being held in the Calais jail until the Brewer police picked him up.
Marie Ann Mitchell, 22, Calais, was arrested at 1 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Portside Inn and charged with criminal trespass. She is scheduled to appear in 4th District Court in Calais Tuesday, May 1.
Troy W. Ramsdell, 24, Calais, was summoned for assault on April 21. Johnson said that the charge stemmed from an alleged domestic dispute. He is to appear in court May 1.
Allard McArthur, 31, Baileyville, was arrested on Main Street at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, and charged with obstructing a public way. Johnson said that McArthur was on the sidewalk and when he did not move when police asked him to, he was arrested. He also will be in court on May
