Maine’s fourth annual Women Business Owners Conference will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Augusta Civic Center. Hosts for the daylong event will be members of the Women’s Business Development Corp. Gov. John R. McKernan will welcome participants and Kathryn Weare, owner of the Cliff House in Ogunquit, will be the keynote speaker. The luncheon speaker will be Charlotte Taylor, president of Venture Concepts, a management consulting firm, in Washington.
