According to MFHA corresponding secretary Janet Hoskin, each coach selected up to three players as All-State nominees. Those selections formed a master ballot which was sent to each varsity coach and, from that ballot, the top vote-getters for each of the three state teams were chosen.
The MFHA will honor these athletes, as well as parents and coaches, at a buffet luncheon Dec. 1 at the Augusta Civic Center. Also being honored will be coaches with more than 100 career wins, officials with 10 or more years experience, retirees, and state and regional champion teams and coaches.
