NMTC 106, St. John 66

At Saint John, New Brunswick, the Northern Maine Technical College Falcons of Presque Isle trounced the St. John Community College Bruins on Sunday.

Bill Mathers had 26 points to lead the Falcons. Dwayne Grass chipped in with 24 points. Kevin Young’s 20 points and Mike Wright’s 15 were the other double figure performances for Northern Maine Tech.

Dave Vincente had a game-high 28 points for St. John’s. George Gilbert was the other Bruin in double figures with 15.

Northern Maine Tech raises its record to 3-0, while St. John dipped to 1-2.
