FAIRFIELD – Fairfield and Waterville area residents will have a new pharmacy for prescription medicines, home health and beauty aids beginning Monday, Feb. 26, when Community Pharmacies opens its newest Maine store at 95 Main St.
Store hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The Fairfield store is the 12th of the Maine-based chain, which was founded in 1998. Dave McCurdy of Farmingdale will be the store manager while the father-son team of Bud Savage and Shane Savage, both of Fairfield, will be pharmacists.
The store has a staff of 12 and offers a full-service pharmacy that accepts most third-party insurance.
