ORONO – Collegiate Baseball magazine has announced that University of Maine freshman Aaron Izaryk has been selected to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team.

Izaryk, a catcher and designated hitter for the Black Bears, was one of two designated hitters named to the team. He finished the season with a team-high .367 batting average, drove in 22 runs, drew 16 walks against only 12 strikeouts, and had a .470 on-base percentage.
