ORONO — A public reception for Maine authors on Sunday, May 20, will be the opening event for the annual conference of Maine librarians, which will be held at the University of Maine.

The reception will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Damn Yankee Restaurant in the Memorial Union. An estimated 48 authors are expected to attend to discuss and autograph their works.
