The Craig Family Reunion, for the Craigs of Back Bay, Nashwaak and Maine, will be held July 13 at the Courtenay Bay Inn in Saint John, New Brunswick. The family is descended from James and Mary Craig, who arrived in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, in 1820, and settled in the Back Bay area. Their children moved on to Nashwaak (east of Woodstock) and Maine. Children: Andrew, born 1793; William, 1797; Samuel, 1798; Elizabeth, 1805; James, 1806; Mary, 1807; and Robert, 1811. The 135th Kalloch Family Reunion will be held 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Warren Baptist Church, Main Street, Warren. I can tell you that the amount of Kalloch genealogy available for perusing during last year’s reunion was truly amazing, and the association also is planning outdoor activities this year. In addition, cousins are still submitting quilt squares for another project. The group would like to have registrations by July 6, if possible. Registrations must be in by Aug. 3. The cost, including a buffet lunch, is $14, sent in care of Evelyn N. Kalloch, P.O. Box 124, Thomaston, ME 04861.
