HAMPDEN – George B. Weatherbee School Principal Dana C. Folsom recently was elected to the 15-member board of directors of the National Association of Elementary School Principals.

Folsom will serve a three-year term as NAESP’s director of Zone 1, representing member principals in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and six Canadian provinces.

Folsom taught for 10 years before becoming an administrator in 1984. He begins his 12th year as principal this fall.
