The Penobscot Valley Hockey Club peewees captured the Tier I state championship in Biddeford last weekend by beating Casco Bay 2-1, Kennebec 7-0 and Lewiston 4-1. The team concluded an undefeated regular season at 21-0-4 and will play in the New England Regional Tournament March 9-11 n Burlington, Vt.

The team is coached by Mike Tuell, Brad Weiland, Gary George and Wayne Hedrick. The players include Matt and Zach Wilson, John Tuell, Joe Robicheau, Tony Raymond, Nick Payson, Sonny Dunbar, Adam Conway, Kyle Weiland, Andy Shulkosky, Jeremy Lundin, Ian Lee, Dylan George and Keith Hedrick. The trainer is John Raymond.
