WINTERPORT – Jason Littlefield scattered five hits, striking out six and walking two, and aided his own cause with a single, an RBI double, and a two-run home run as the Waldo County All-Stars qualified for the State Little League Tournament with a 7-2 victory over Belfast in the District 2 title game here Wednesday afternoon.

Matt Martin added a double and a single for the winners while Warren Ard had a solo home run.

Belfast had five players post five singles. Losing pitcher Josh Herron struck out six and walked just one.
