FARMINGTON – Leeanne Weston scored with 50 seconds left in the first half to lift the University of Maine-Farmington to a 1-0 victory over Endicott College during field hockey action here Sunday in each team’s opener.

Weston was set up by Tracie Connors’ penalty corner. Goalie Libbi Magoon made one save on one shot.

For Endicott of Beverly, Mass., goalie Jennifer Chadwick finished with nine saves on 10 shots.
