BEDFORD, N.H. – Scott Dewitt of the Biddeford-Saco Country Club shot a 71-73 Thursday to finish in a tie for ninth overall after the final two rounds of the New England Amateur Championship at Manchester Country Club.

Dewitt finished the tournament with a 7-under 287. Samuel Marzenell, also of the Biddeford-Saco Country Club, shot a 74-78 Thursday and was tied for 35th overall.

Falmouth Country Club’s Gary Manoogian finished in a tie for 39th, while Blake Eldridge of Springbrook tied for 47th.

Kevin Quinn of the Charles River Country Club was first overall (71-71-66-73-281).
