AUGUSTA – Ben Kelley roped a two-out RBI triple in the top of the sixth as Gardiner edged East Biddeford 2-1 Thursday to capture the state 9-10 Little League baseball crown.

East Biddeford defeated Gardiner in an earlier game, 9-2, to force the second game.

Jordan Carradonna got the winners started with a two-out single, scoring on Kelley’s triple. Mike Trahan iced it with an RBI single.

Chris Langevin had an RBI single for East Biddeford in the bottom of the sixth.
