The occasion was the opening night of the Muddy Rudder Restaurant in Brewer. We were hesitant to go on the first night, but there was no need to worry about the service, food or having to wait. If this evening’s fare is an indication of what we can expect in the future, then we heartily recommend this fine restaurant to everyone.
The servers had trained for three weeks, and they certainly knew what they were doing, in addition to being pleasant about it. The food was fresh, presented well, tasty and of proper portions. How nice to have this waterfront building being utilized by such a fine company, giving us yet another dining opportunity.
Thank you, Jack Crawford [president of Maine Course Hospitality Group] and Tom Workman [restaurant manager], for establishing this establishment so well.
