Walker leads MCI to 4th win

DEXTER – Emily Walker scored 16 points to help lead the unbeaten Maine Central Institute Huskies of Pittsfield to a 51-34 schoolgirl basketball win over Dexter here Tuesday night.

Mandy King, in her first season at MCI after moving from Dexter, scored 13 points and Becky Vaughan added 10 for the 4-0 Huskies.

Lynn Hersey scored 14 points for the 0-2 Tigers.

Charlotte Cormier added 17 points for the 2-3 Pandas while Osgood and Samantha Osgood each pulled down 10 rebounds.

Shelly Page led the 1-3 Vikings with 26 points and 13 rebounds while Wendy Hanington added 10.
