HUSSON vs. HOLY FAMILY COLLEGE

Time, site: Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Babson Park, Fla.

Records: Husson 9-1; Holy Family 2-11

Key players: Husson – G Kristi Wildman (15.4 ppg, 3.8 spg), G Vicki Mazerall (14.3 ppg), G Darci Collins (10.3 ppg, 3.7 apg), C Tara Leavitt (9.1 ppg, 5.5 rpg), F Steph Shaw (8.3 ppg, 5.4 rpg); HFC – F Jennifer Yeager (15 ppg, 11 rpg), G Mary Beth Oates (7 ppg, 4 apg), G Patty Andris (14 ppg), F Kelly Gaffney (8 ppg), C Jennifer Kane (6 ppg)

Outlook: The nationally ranked Braves are coming off a 25-day layoff, but the injury-plagued Holy Family team is a good way to get back into the swing. HFC is trying to recover from the loss of its starting point guard and starting center, both to knee injuries. HFC point guard Oates will have to control the ball against Husson’s full-court pressure defense. The Braves suffered one loss over their break as third-leading scorer Anne Cote left school right before the end of the semester for academic reasons.
