Stop FCC meddling

Bravo for your editorial (BDN, Aug. 12) on “the TV tax.”

Indeed, our Federal Communications Commission, and other powers that be, are engaged in an “epochal meddling in consumer choice.” And it must be stopped.

Ever since I read back in the mid-’90s about the FCC “making people buy something they don’t particularly want,” I have been upset.

As you say, “Either call it what it is or repeal the law and let people buy, and watch, what they darned well please.”
