PORTLAND – Maine Public Radio announces the launch of its newest addition to its comprehensive Web site – a community events calendar.

Now listeners can go to www.mainepublicradio.org and click on Community Calendar to find the time of the next Kneisel Hall concert, a local contra dance, who to contact about monthly astronomy gatherings and more. Search by date, category or just by scrolling down the screen.

Community members post their events, such as plays, music performances, meetings and bean suppers on www.mainepublicradio.org or by contacting Audience Services at (800) 884-1717.
